About Me
My journey to counselling practice started when I moved to New Zealand from the UK. I began working for Nova Trust Alcohol and Other Drug Centre as a Support Worker and learned the intense challenges addiction can bring. It was in this role that I decided to upskill, and use my love for connecting with others in a career.
Since then, I have completed my three year training at Laidlaw College, learning to integrate Person-Centred and Narrative therapy skills.
I have been working extensively at the Tane Whai Ora, Canterbury Men’s Centre. It is here that I have come face to face with the massive array of challenges men face in the modern era. These include porn and substance addiction, relationship struggles, and childhood trauma.
My life experience and training has taught me how to sit with any story. Nothing is off the table
My Practice
My Person Centred and Narrative Therapy training means we’ll work together at your pace, without judgment. We’ll explore how life experiences, relationships, and societal pressures shape your story—and how you can rewrite it in a way that empowers you.
